Global Intelligence Fellowship Program
Call for Applications
Stratfor invites applications for its inaugural Global Intelligence Fellowship Program. The Program focuses on global trends and risks affecting the geopolitical landscape, impacting governments, and the international community. Facilitating robust conversations and innovative thinking by bringing together industry professionals, regional advisors and academics.
Our Global Fellows will have the opportunity to join a select cohort of industry professionals and share insights into their domain of expertise with Stratfor’s global network of executives and officers from over 30,000 organizations around the world. As part of the fellowship, the Global Fellows will be required to contribute monthly content to Stratfor's Horizons blog, collaborate with the other Global Fellows to develop ideas on subjects of their choosing, interact with our Stratfor analysts and join us in Austin, Texas for a retreat examining the future of global threats to geopolitics.
The Global Fellows will be chosen through a competitive application process. Applicants are expected to have a distinguished publication record in leading journals and a strong interest in the work conducted at Stratfor. Current areas of research include, but are not limited to:
- Regional political, security, and economic analysis in: North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia-Pacific, South Asia, Europe, Eurasia, and the Middle East
- Industry economic analysis in: High technology, financial services, heavy industries, energy, transportation, logistics, defense and aerospace, and telecommunications
- Subject matter interests: Counter-terrorism, counterintelligence, computational propaganda, violent non-state actors, state fragility, transnational crime, information security
An annual stipend will be provided for all fellows for the duration of the program, as well as promotional opportunities through our Stratfor website, publications and podcasts.
Applications should be submitted to fellowapplications@stratfor.com and should consist of a CV indicating your area of expertise, 1-2 publications, and 1-page outline of proposed research subjects to pursue through the duration of the fellowship.
